Modern Warfare 4 DMZ players can now earn significantly more money from several activities following the latest update. The changes arrive shortly before the launch of the mode’s next map, giving operators more ways to rebuild their funds after losing equipment or completing a difficult deployment.

According to Infinity Ward’s patch notes, Dynamic Ops now reward between $10,000 and $20,000, up from the previous range of $5,000 to $10,000. This makes the larger objectives considerably more lucrative for players willing to complete them.

Side Ops have also received a major increase. Their reward has risen from $500 to $2,000 per completion, making these smaller activities a more effective way to replenish a bank balance without committing to a larger objective. Five completed Side Ops now provide the same payout as the minimum reward from a Dynamic Op.

Mission progression offers more cash as well. Individual mission steps now pay $500 instead of $300. While that is still below the potential reward from a Dynamic Op, the increase provides an additional source of income during regular play.

The changes are intended to make recovering from a failed deployment less difficult, particularly for players who lose an operator or spend their equipment. Dynamic Ops remain the most profitable option, but the improved Side Op rewards give players a lower-commitment alternative.

Modern Warfare 4 Season One, including the new DMZ map X01, launches on Friday, November 6, 2026. The new location is described as drawing inspiration from Building 21, the limited-time map introduced in 2022’s Modern Warfare 2.
