Battlefield 6 replaces Vegas Strip’s attack helicopter spawn

Following player criticism, DICE is changing the map’s neutral vehicle spawn from an attack helicopter to a transport helicopter, reducing the threat posed by pilots using the high-rise buildings for cover.

Battlefield 6’s Vegas Strip map is getting a vehicle-spawn change after players complained that its attack helicopter made matches frustrating. The latest Battlefield Comms update says the neutral vehicle spawn will now provide a transport helicopter instead.

The attack helicopter could give the controlling team a major advantage on the map. Its high-rise buildings offered pilots plenty of cover from which to attack, while making it difficult for opponents to bring the aircraft down.

Transport helicopters still have some offensive capability, but are slower and can be countered with effort. The change is intended to ease the pressure from the attack helicopter while leaving a vehicle available to teams.
